Dear members,
All of you are probably aware of the ongoing crisis in Kashmir and the innocent deaths, injuries, blockades, curfews, arrests, harassment and other difficulties our family, friends and neighbors are currently undergoing.
Several members of the Kashmiri community in Canada recently met and decided to condemn the actions of the Indian establishment and extend moral support to the people of Kashmir.
In this regard, it was unanimously decided that we will hold a 'silent protest demonstration' outside the Indian Consulate in Toronto, and later present a memorandum to the Indian government, the Canadian government and other relevant organizations.
The details are as follows:
Date: 30th August, 2008 (Saturday)
Time: 1:00pm (Assembly time), 1:30pm (Starting time)
Venue: Indian Consulate, Toronto (365 Bloor St. E, Toronto)
Directions: The map can be viewed it:

The nearest TTC subway stop is the Sherbourne Station.
Please arrive early to avoid parking delays. Please bring family and kids along. It's our show of support to the people of Kashmir more than anything else. Be a part of it.
